The brief
The alert feed produced hundreds of messages a day, and engineers had learned to ignore it.
The route we took
We grouped alerts by cause and ranked them by how many customers were affected. The board shows what is wrong, where, and who is already on it.
What changed
Engineers now find the fault that matters in about 90 seconds, and the team turned off two older dashboards.
